Belarus Mobile Users, July 01, 2008VELCOM and Belarusbank introduce SMS banking service

After January 9, 2004 VELCOM will provide SMS banking service for holders of Belarusbank plastic cards MAESTRO/CIRRUS and VISA/ELECTRON.
According to Mr. Yushkevich, MDC (trade mark VELCOM) acting director, the new service is a joint project of mobile operator VELCOM, Belarusbank and IBA company.
In future VELCOM is planning to provide SMS-banking services for public utilities payments.
