Ambitious plans of Minsk computer machinery manufacturing firm

By the end of 2004 Minsk computer machinery manufacturing firm is planning to produce automatic telephone exchanges based on BetaM digital switching systems with total capacity of 85 thousand ports. Switchboards with total capacity of 50 thousand ports will be produced for Belarus while 35 thousand ports switchboards will be exported to Russia.
BetaM digital switching systems have been produced by Minsk computer machinery manufacturing firm since 2003.
The capacity digital switching systems installed by Minsk computer machinery manufacturing firm in Belarus in October-November 2003 totals 16 thousand ports. 5 thousand ports switchboards meet common channel signaling (CCS) requirements.
