National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and Oracle agreement on cooperation

National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and Oracle have signed an agreement on information technologies development in Belarus.
According to Academy press-secretary Tatyana Oreshko the agreement has been signed in the framework of E-Belarus state programme and Oracle software and technologies will become the basis for the uniform state computer information system developing. Besides Oracle is to provide information about companies participation in E-Russia and E-Moscow programmes and to share its international expertise. Agreement states that Oracle will provide technology information support. National Academy of Science will create a specialized examination center for Oracle products in order to coordinate joint projects.
The parties has agreed about information exchange: Natioanal Academy will provide Oracle with information about new projects and initiatives in the ICT sphere in Belarus, while Oracle will inform its partner about new company's products and their advantages.
National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has already signed agreements on cooperation with Hewlett-Packard Europe BV, Cisco System and Dell.
