Pilot WiMax hot spots to be launched in Belarus by the end of 2005

The Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus is planning to launch pilot WiMax hot spots by the end of 2005.
According to the Minister of Communications Vladimir Goncharenko, Siemens and Ericsson are chosen as contractors for the "WiMax" project. Though speaking at the exhibition PTS-2005, the Minister stated that " Siemens and Ericsson has not yet informed Ministry that that are ready to start their work".
