Belarusian GSM operator Velcom has launched EDGE services in Grodno, Vitebsk and Mogilev regions since December 28, 2005.
Mr. Gennady Melnikov, Velcom general director, says that soon the new technology will become available in all the seven regions of Belarus. He stresses that EDGE technology is one more step made by Velcom towards introducing of 3G network.
