32,8% Belarusians use internet

According to the poll of 1504 respondents aged from 15 to 74 conducted by Factum Bel Agency (Belarusian partner of Gemius) conducted in Belarus in October 2008, 32,8% Belarusians use internet at least once a month - a 15% increase since June.
14% o respondents use internet daily, and 14% -every week. The majority of respondents use e-mail services - 44%, 23% use internet to download music, 10% participate in forum and blog discussions.
According to Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, there were 2,7 mln Internet users in Belarus in April 2008. 170 thousand use broadband internet access. Beltelecom draws 400 thousand bills for dial -up internet access every month.
