According to BelTA Belarus and Kazakhstan have good opportunities for implementing joint media projects, BelTA learned from Belarusian Deputy Information Minister Vladimir Matusevich at the opening ceremony of the Belarusian-Kazakh business forum on information technologies on 23 April.
The official said that the two countries have good opportunities for implementing joint media projects either bilateral ones or those within the framework of the nascent Eurasian Economic Union.
The Deputy Information Minister remarked that Belarus is interested in Kazakhstan’s experience of the legislative regulation of the mass media market, promotion of materials in the World Wide Web, the creation of Internet projects, and advances in the area of satellite television. “These are good topics for discussing and implementing joint projects,” believes Vladimir Matusevich.
In his words, it is necessary to arrange Belarusian-Kazakh events in the sphere of mass media. The official underlined that the participation of young reporters from leading Kazakh mass media in the Belarusian-Russian forum for young reporters Common Look Into the Future in November 2013 had good feedback.
