Beltelecom signs up 100,000th triple-play customer

According to TeleGeography state-owned PTO Beltelecom says the number of people signed up to its ‘YASNA’ brand triple-play service – offering high speed internet, unlimited voice telephony and interactive television (ZALA) – passed the 100,000 mark on 1 December.
The YASNA offer is hosted by its in-deployment Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Networks (GPON) network. Last month, TeleGeography confirmed that the nation’s dominant fixed line and broadband provider, hit the milestone of one million GPON users on 31 October, beating its own target to hit that number by the end of this year. The telco is confident of its plan to deploy fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) to all households by end-2020, including rolling out services to all high-rise apartments across the country.
Beltelecom currently offers YASNA with a variety of connectivity options, ranging from YASNA 10 (up to 10.5Mbps), to YASNA 50 (up to 50Mbps).
