Belarus further develops its telephone network

From January until June this year, 74 small Belarusian villages were installed with fixed telephones.
By the end of the year, the government's Communications Ministry hopes to have installed telephones in 76 of Belarus' small villages.
Since this past January, 52,000 telephone local loops have been connected to local telephone networks.
Meanwhile, 42,000 telephone loops have been installed in Belarus cities while 10,000 have been connected in villages.
