Belarusian portal reports 10 million hits

The biggest Belarusian portal 'TUT' received more than 10 million hits over the September 2000 to September 2001 period, according to the portal's owners.
The portal's general manager Kirill Voloshin went on to say that users read 7,000 news articles and organised 1,000 forums.
The portal's summation of its year's activities also showed that 75 gigabytes of e-mails were saved in 70,000 accounts.
The portal TUT has become the major means of online communication for Belarus citizens.
