ISP Business Network increases gateway channel speed

The major Belarussian ISP, Business Network, has increased its gateway speed through Belpack, a Beltelecom branch, to 1.5Mbits, which is 24 times faster than it was in January 2000.
The ISP's support department has been functioning around-the-clock since November 1, 2001.
Moreover, the Belarussian Communications Ministry is planning to establish a Belarusian internet exchange point using the ISP's network as its basis.
