Beltelecom sets Sprint channel in operation

The Belarusian telco, Beltelecom, has connected up its second outer internet channel through Sprint, reaching connection speeds of 34Mb/s.
Beltelecom signed the agreement with Sprint in October, 2002. It took two months to install and test the necessary equipment, in addition to setting IP traffic.
Beltelecom's outer channel capacity now reaches 79 Mb/s.
