Belarusian mobile operator Belcel is now offering cdma2000 standard mobile services under the brand name 'Diallog'.
Though Belcel had been developing such services since 6 February, 2003, the implmentation of a new brand name was only made in June. The 3G mobile services are accessible to 50 per cent of the urban population of Belarus.
Belcel network now covers 61 per cent of Belarus, an area that accounts for 72 per cent of all country's population and 79 per cent of the urban population. Belcel currently has around 20,000 subscribers.
