Beltelecom (finally) signs usage agreement with Intersputnik

Though Belarus has been a member of the Intersputnik group since 1993, Beltelecom has only recently signed a utilisation agreement with the international space communication organisation.
Intersputnik operates three satellites: Express 6A, Express 3A and LMI1. Telecoms and broadcasting companies rent Intersputnik satellite channels for digital broadcasting and data transmission.
