According to Belarusian Ministry of Communication Belarusian cellular operators invested $71.2 million into GSM network development in January-June 2003.
Velcom has invested $19.9 million, while Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) - $51.3 million.
Due to the extension of operation network area the number of cellular subscribers in Belarus has exceeded to 730 thousand.
