Gomel regional administration launches its official web site

gomel-region.gov.by, a Gomel Region Executive Committee official site, has been created by joint efforts of regional executive committee and Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BELTA). Information agency BELTA provides information support in real-time operation mode.
Facts from regional history, ecological, cultural and economical developments of the southern region of Belarus - all this information can be found at the site.
Presenting the new web-site, Aleksandr Jakobson, the head of the Gomel region Executive Committee, expressed hope that the site would help businessmen to find partners and to develop commerce in the region. "We are always glad to share official information and news, to inform citizens about cultural, scientific, sporting and other events", - he emphasized.
