More than 15 000 fixed telephones installed in 2003 in Mogilev region

15,4 thousand inhabitants fixed telephones were installed by Mogilevobltelecom in Mogilev region in 2003. That is by 26% more than it was planned before. According to Mogilevobltelecom, 12,4 thousand fixed telephones were installed in the cities and 3 thousand - in rural areas. 33 small villages got their fixed telephone lines. 2,4 thousand phones were installed on preferential terms.
Now there are 29,36 fixed telephone per 100 inhabitants: 32,81 in the cities and 20,37 in rural area.
