Belarus Mobile Users, April 01, 2010Tender for the license of the third GSM operator announced in Belarus

An open international bidding for a GSM operator (900 -1800 MHz) has been organized by the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of Belarus.
One of the major terms of the tender consists in creating of a joint stock company with Minsk City Telephone Network (a state owned enterprise). The share of Minsk City Telephone Network shouldn't be less than 51%. The license will be issued for 5 years
The price for bidding documentation package (in English and Russian) is available at Giprosvjaz state company for EUR 5 000.
The deadline for applicants is September 21, 2004, 12 a.m.
Bidders guarantees of EUR 500 000 should be valid for 8 months after bidding.
