According to Belarusian mobile operators data the number of GSM subscribers in the country totaled 1677,4 thousand by the August 1, 2004. The number of GSM-subscribers has increased by 53, 2% since the beginning of the year (and by 7,2% in July only)
MTS has now 817,4 thousand subscribers which is 9,9% more than in the beginning of July and 75,8%. More than in January.
Velcom has 860 thousand subscribers which is 4,9%. More than in July and 36,5% more than in January.
