On September 9, Latvian LITTA, Lithuanian Infobalt and Belarusian Nantional Infopark signed an agreement on cooperation within the framework of the Baltic information systems cluster (BISC). The BISC was founded by Latvian companies in order to become more competitive on foreign IT markets.
After Lithuanian and Belarusian companies have joined the BISC, the Baltic cluster embraces 296 companies with the annual turnover of 2.24 bln EUR in 2003. 29.5 thousand employees now work for the BISC companies in the three countries.
