By 2012 digital TV will replace analogous one in Belarus

According to Nina Raevskaya, head of the electronic mass media department at the Ministry of Information of Belarus, the transition to digital TV broadcasting is to be accomplished by the year of 2012.
And the first Belarusian satellite channel BELARUS TV will be launched in January, said Nina Raevskaya.
She also noted that Belarusian Ministry of Information has signed an agreement with a Russian TV broadcaster TV CENTER.
According to the agreement Belarusian programmes are to be included into TV CENTER broadcasting schedule.
