Web hosting market in Belarus has increased by 40% in 2004

According to the survey conducted by Extmedia web hosting sales volume totals $500 thousand in 2004 which is 40% more than in 2003.
It is expected that by the end of 2005 web hosting sales volume will increase up to $1 mln.
Three leading companies Extmedia, Relsoft and Beltelecom share 30% of the market, having 15,5%(1500 websites), 8,5% (700 websites) and 6% (500 websites) respectively.
14 companies having from 1% to 3% shares make 25% of the market. Other web hosting providers (45% of market share) are smaller companies each having less than 1%.
