Internet forum closed down in Grodno

Grodno authorities closed down popular internet forum forum.grodno.by, hosted at the server belonging to Beltelocm local branch. Aleksei Rads, a Beltelecom employee, who administered forum.grodno.by, has been sacked.
These extreme measures were taken up by Grodno authorities because forum visitors used to critically discuss Belarusian president and his policies as well as parliament candidates for the 52 Grodno region.
forum.grodno.by had 2000 unique visitors which looked through 12 000 pages daily.
Aleksei Rads is intednded to launch the forum at some other server. http://kalian.host.sk/forum.html
