Equipment bidding announced by BeST

On April 15, 2005, recently founded Belarusian GSM operator BeST announced bidding for equipment design, mounting and putting into exploitation. The terms of bidding include software provision, warranty service as well as consulting and personnel training services during the first year of equipment exploiting. The third GSM operator should be put into operation since September 19, 2005.
The deadline for the tender is 16 May, 2005. The price of bidding documentation package is USD 3,8 thousand. Tender applications should be guaranteed by the sum of USD 280 thousand.
According to bidding terms, all the equipment should be certified by Belarusian certification centers.
Siemens, Ericsson, Alcatel and a number of Chinese equipment producers have been planning to participate in the tender.
