According to Minister of Communications and Informatization Vladimir Goncharenko, Comstruct International has worked out business plan for Belarusian mobile operator BelCel.
Goncharenko said that the new business plan for Belcel suggested USD 530 000 net profit by the end of 2006. At present BelCel bill payable totals USD 43 mln. and accounts receivable - USD 7mln..
Goncharenko informed that Ministry of Communications had extended Belcel licence term, because the company, in spite of its losses, paid USD 20mln. of taxes in 2004.
According to Goncharenko's estimations the total sum of foreign investments into BelCel will total USD 20 mln. in 2006.
Belcel was the first analogues mobile communications operator in Belarus. Since 1993 the company is providing NMT-450 services, since 2003 - IMT-MC-450 standard services. The company was founded by Comstruct International (the Netherlands) - 50% and by Beltelecom - 50%.
At present BelCel has 100 000 subscribers with more than 3 500 NMT standard users among them
