Belarus supports creating intergovernmental body for management of the Internet

Belarus supports the idea of UN Internet Governace forum akin to the United Nations' International Telecommunications Union (ITU). That statement was made by Sergei Aleinik representing Belarus in UN and other international organizations, when he was speaking at the WSIS meeting in Tunis.
Sergei Aleinik said also that Belarus highly appreciates the results of the first WSIS meeting which took place in Geneva in 2003.
