The number of MTS services subscribers goes beyond 3 mln

As for November 24, 2006, the number of MTS services subscribers exceeds 3mln.
MTS network consists of 1992 base stations, 18100 transmitters and 8 switchboard with total capacity of 3 mln. 980 thousand numbers. The network covers 575 inhabited localitities, all the major Belarusian highways, frontier points and major tourist and recreation areas. MTS provides roaming with 196 operators in 115 countries.

During the first half of 2006, MTS gained 297,041bln. BYR (107MEUR), ARPU totaled 9,86USD, and MOU - 407 minutes. During the same period, MTS capital investments totaled 107,313bln. BYR (38,6MEUR), and taxes paid to the budget totaled 53,815bln BYR (19,37MEUR).
