Beltelecom lunches a new numbering system

According to the official Beltelecom announcement, the state company launches a new numbering system on March 31, 2007.
That means that emergency and information services phone numbers are to be changed by adding figure "1": 101 instead of 01, 102 instead of 02, 103 instead of 03 and 104 instead of 04 and etc.
Parallel functioning of new and old numbers is not planned. However, an automatic caller for old numbers will be functioning up to June 31, 2007.
Citizens will have an opportunity to find out new numbers by calling free information service (199).
