New fiber optic line junction put into operation by Beltelecom

On May, 25 the second fiber optic line junction was put into operation at Belarus-Russia border.
The junction is using DWDM equipment. The capacity of FOL (fiber-optic line) junction will be 10 Gbps (STM-64) during the initial stage of operating, and could be increased up to 200 Gbps later on.
Beltelecom has put into operation 10 FOL junctions at the borders with all Belarus neighbours - Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland.
