Beltelecom awards IPTV contract to ZTE

According TeleGeography, Belarus' national fixed line and broadband provider Beltelecom has selected Chinese equipment manufacturer ZTE for an IPTV project in the Republic. The operator, which has been working towards the implementation of IPTV services since May 2006, has held trials with a number of leading vendors, but has decided to go with ZTE's video technology.
