Byfly has 100 000 broadband subscribers

According to Konstantin Tikar, Beltelecom general director, byfly holds about 70% of the national market for broadband services in Belarus and 35% - in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.
Beltelecom broadband Internet services trademark byfly was launched in September 2006. Since 2007, byfly package includes also broadband wireless Internet access services Wi-Fi. At present byfly offers 10 tariff plans for individuals (from 30 000 to 120 000 BLR per month) and 14 tariff plans for corporate clients (from 68 000 to 1 435 000 BLR per month).
During the two years of operation the number of byfly subscribers has increased from 3000 to 100 000. It is expected that by the end of the current year byfly will have 140 000 subscribers, and by the end of 2009 - 400 000.
