According to Minister of Communications and Informatisation Nikolai Pantelei, the number of people using wireless internet access will total more than 3,6 million, while the number o fixed broadband internet access subscribers will top 1,7 million in 2010. Minister has announced that they forcast the growth of the number of wireless access subscribers up to 3,6 million, and for fixed broadband access subscribers - 1,7 million.
He stressed that Ministry of Communications and Informatisation has adopted The program of innovational development in the telecommunications sphere for the 2008-2010 period to stimulate the market's growth..
The minister cited the government's statistics and said that the number of Internet users has grown up to 2,8 million during 2007 in Belarus.
