A radiofrequency range fee is introduced in Belarus from the 1st October

The president's decree #439 was issued to increase the effectiveness of radiofrequency range usage in Belarus.
According to the document, a fee is introduced from the 1st of October for selection of radiofrequencies for radioelectronic means of mass communication.
Fee for radiofrequency range selection, as well as selection from the results of radiofrequency range usage tender, is to be taken from legal persons and entrerpreneurs if the Security Council's State Comission of radiofrequencies allows the usage of the selected radiofrequency.
According to the Decree, state organisations using TV and radio broadcasting stations, as well as legal persons and entrepreneurs if the State Comission of radiofrequencies prolongs their term of radiofrequency range usage, are not subjected to the fee.
The fee is calculated as 1 euro per radioelectronic range with width of 1MHz on 1 square km.
