According to Belarusian Central statistical office In 2011, there were 75 personal computers per 100 households in Minsk.
In 2000 there were 6, in 2005- 31, in 2008- 58 computres per household. The number of other devices per 100 household has also increased. In 2011 there were 167 color televisions (1.1 times more tahn in 2006), two satellite antennas, 106 refrigerators and 18 freezers ( 1,2 time increase), 87 washing machines, including 80 washing machines-machines (1,5 times increase), 85 vacuum cleaners, two dishwashers, 67 microwave ovens (1.6 timesincrease), eight cameras, 43 digital camera, 223 mobile phones
As for October 1, 2011, 100 households accounted for 42 cars (26 cars in 2001).
81.2% of color tv sets, 94,6% of personal computers, 64.4% of refrigerators, 86.5% of washing machines-machines, 70.1 percent of vacuum cleaners, 90.9% of microwave ovens, have a service life up to 10 years
