MTS Belarus introduces M-Banking payment service

According to Telecompaper mobile operator MTS Belarus has introduced its new M-Banking remote payment service, aimed at subscribers holding bank cards.
The service enables them to pay for goods and services online without giving their bank account and bank card details. Customers can use the service by giving their mobile telephone number. The system sends a request to the handset to approve the payment, which is then duly processed. The service is available via smartphones and the M-Belarusbank mobile application. It has been launched by Belarusbank and the company Assist. Payments over the system are available to holders of cards issued by any bank.
