According to BelTA Grin IT, a resident company of the Hi-Tech Park (HTP) has launched an online service sensmd.com to assess symptoms of the novel coronavirus.
Sense MD is a free online service that helps people assess their symptoms and gives recommendations as to what to do next.
This is Belarus' first localized coronavirus self-checker. It was developed together with medical professionals. Unlike other similar programs, this service can be used repeatedly and can track symptom progress over time.
According to the project co-founder Nikita Kayeshko, the goal of the project is to relieve the strain on the healthcare system that is already overwhelmed and to offer a user-friendly and convenient instrument to guide people through their symptoms.
The service was developed in collaboration with Belarusian doctors that are on the front line of combating the COVID-19 infection. People displaying mild symptoms are recommended to stay at home and track their symptom progress instead of seeking medical attention immediately.
