A1 Belarus acquires Soligorsk-based Multiservice Network

According to TeleGeography Belarusian multiservice provider A1 Belarus has acquired the assets of Soligorsk-based broadband and TV services provider Multiservice Network LLC, building on its M&A strategy that has previously seen it buying up cable TV and internet provider JSC Vitebsk Oblast Techno-Trade Center Garant (Garant) in April 2018, and another ISP in the shape of Minsk-based Belinfonet in December 2018.
In a press release, A1 Telekom Austria Group-owned A1 Belarus said that starting from 18 August 2020, it will take over the provision of all services previously provided by Multiservice Network to homes and businesses in and around Soligorsk via Ethernet technology. From that date, all subscribers to the Multiservice Network were automatically transferred to equivalent A1 tariff plans noting that as a bonus, all subscribers were provided with ‘special conditions of service’.
